Consultations at Boston Plastic Surgery are structured around each patient’s medical history, anatomy, expectations, timetable, and budget. Patients receive time to discuss their concerns, compare appropriate surgical and nonsurgical options, and understand the anticipated recovery process before making a decision. Many outpatient procedures are performed in the practice’s QUAD A-accredited surgical suite under the care of a board-certified anesthesiologist. This accredited environment supports established standards for equipment, staffing, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and surgical safety. Patients requiring hospital-based care may be treated at an affiliated community or academic facility.
